We offer instructor led bookkeeping classes for business owners or individuals who would like to find out more about managing their books. Each class offers:
- A 'live' 30 min - 1 hour meeting with the instructor every week, for the duration of the course
- A Downloadable lessons
- Email assistance from instructor
- An option to consult with an accountant at the end of the class, in order to deal with bookkeeping specifics about your business.
CLASSES OFFERED
Basic Bookkeeping I
Duration: 6 Weeks
This class will cover:
- Expense Categorization
- Job/Project/Class tracking
- Keeping proper records
- Picking a bookkeeping software
- Importance of reconciliations and how to perform one
- Closing the books for a period
At the end of this class, you can schedule a consult with your instructor or one of DIL's bookkeepers to guide you in picking a particular software or helping you set it up.

Year End Tax Readiness (for businesses)
Duration: 3 Weeks
This class walks you through preparing for the upcoming tax season. One thing Dollars In Line preaches is the need to start early. We will cover:
- Expense categorizations for tax purposes
- Account reconciliations
- Records that must be kept
- Reports your accountant needs
